My friend VP over at http://2010viewpoint.blogspot.ca/ has an excellent opinion posting about the murderous events of the past week.

    I have a difficulty with having sympathy for the audience in Colorado. Those people were their to get vicarious kicks from the violence portrayed in the batman movie genre. The more moronic audience creeps had brought their young children with them.There is an old saying in these parts that if ya mess with the bull you will get the horn.Well they got the horn!

   The cause of the shootings is plain. It is the unceasing glorification of violence on the big screen on the computers and on the tvs,so much so that people in that Colorado theater thought the opening gunfire was a publicity stunt.

   Yes I know that the anti-gun lobby are blaming the NRA ,so what else is new. How do they explain a far worse mass killing in Norway that has strict gun control laws?

    The glorification of violence, the lack of respect for one another,the lack of respect for law brought about by the passing by all governments of laws that are unenforceable. and add to that the runaway MEism in our civilization and  we see  Aurora COl., Danzig St. Toronto and The Copper Top bar in Tuscaloosa.

     Will things get worse ? Count on it if Paul in his letter to Timothy written 2000 years ago is right.
