Eat yer Veggies! Nope.

On the news this morning it showed a reconstruction of the skull of Richard III. The face looked remarkably like the one on the portrait of him painted by an unknown artist that hangs in the National Portrait Gallery in London.  Hmmm....

"So God made the farmer........." That was an interesting commercial from the folks at Dodge. It is already being trashed by the trolls and  their minions because I think that God is mentioned prominently. That's okay their time will end sooner than they think.

Yesterday I was introduced to the International Normalization Ratio or INR. Folks on Warfarin must have blood tested to check for bleeding or clotting. A person not on Warfarin has an INR of 1. My INR reading has got to be between 2 and 3 which is a very small window. To aid in achieving this I must not have leafy green veggies because they are high in Vitamin K a clotting agent which in my case is very bad.Its no big deal cuz I aint fond of those veggies. I go twice a week right now for an INR check then if the level stays between 2 and 3 then I go once a month. There are home monitoring devices for this that look like the ones diabetics use only the prices range from 700 to 2000 bucks for one.The test  strips for a hundred run from 100 to 129 bucks . Seeing the INR nurse is a lot nicer and cheap too.
