I noticed that a lot of videos from Russia last week of the meteor incident were taken by dash cams.I got to thinking that those gizmos might be a good idea here and I priced them on the internet.The prices are quite reasonable for even a fancy one with night vision.Hmmm...........
Dash cams are really good to have if one is involved in a traffic occurrence or stopped by the police. The cams are as easy to install as a dash gps ; I think I will buy one.
Lately on the tv I see an ad that is aimed at Warfarin users mentioning a drug called Pradaxa as a substitute so I looked up the info on it.It seems it has attracted recalls and law suits. Convenience is the only thing it has going for it because it doesn't need INR monitoring. In fact it can't be monitored.However there is a problem and its a BIG one.Should bleeding happen from a fall or a cut or any other such occurrence there is no way to stop it.Warfarin caused bleeding fortunately can be stopped by an injection of vitamin K. Once you get your dash-cam, perhaps there will be a new reality TV show: "Scenes from GFB's dash-cam"! (Just don't through a stop sign when the cam is running!!!)

A odd thing, at the doctor's this morning he mentioned prescribing Pradaxa. I told him no thanks I will stick with the rat poison and having an INR check is no inconvenience.
