The Game

   Out of bed at 5:45 am ,at Tim Hortons  at 6:30  at the Arena  at 6:40 with a medium and a blueberry fritter then watching the grandsons' exciting game .......Priceless.

   It was a well played game that ended up 1-0  for the other little guys but at that age the score is secondary to the fun of playing.Our oldest little guy plays goalie and his brother is a defenceman  who patrols his blue line like a sergeant-major, knocking pucks away,blocking some shots for his brother.

  I noticed a big improvement in the team's overall play especially that of the two young ladies who were skating and fore checking well and with a little more luck could have had a couple of goals.
 After the game our goalie said to me "Grampa did you see that puck that went over the top of the net and I caught it?"
  I sure did Jord !!

    I can hardly wait for next Saturday morning to come !!
