Bric and Brac

      That's me working the brush hard,harder.Just a reminder of what I have had to give up for now.If I get off the rat poison someday I will take up the game again.

  Had a good INR number on Friday. My appointment was for 9:40 am I got to the clinic at 9:35 then I waited and waited finally at 10 am the nurse called my name.
Apparently my appointment time was never put in the computer.The clinic's new system of electronic record keeping is screwing up and I was told that was the reason for the mix up. The tech people have been working on a fix for five weeks with no joy. I should offer them the services of my 9 year old grandson..lol.

    Wednesday this week should be interesting.I am scheduled for a cardiac stress test in the morning. After its over I hope to be told when I can start walking again for exercise and do some free weights lifting.

    Lastly I am  thinking about reading John P Meir's book
titled The Marginal Jew. Meir is a very respected bible scholar who has conducted a search for the historical Jesus and this has resulted in a four volume work on the subject.
There is very little information in the historical record about Jesus making me wonder how he came up with four volumes. What I may do is read volume one then decide if I will continue.
  The Marginal in the title comes from Meir's thinking that Jesus became a part of Judean society that was marginalized in a troublesome part of the Roman Imperium that existed on the margin of that vast empire.
