Early Morning Hockey and.....

 

     Saturday was another 7 am hockey game only this time the team won. Our goalie grandson did not have many shots to contend with. Our forward/defenseman grandson had a Phil Kessel hat trick ......2 assists and a goal post.
  It was a well played game with the other team's goalie coming up with some big saves that kept the score to a respectable 4-2 for our team.
   In the dressing room afterwards the dads and grand dads were remarking about how well the kids play at 7 am compared to the later morning games. Go figure.
   Lastly, I said to Gramma it is funny to see the two hulked up boys come into the dressing room and as their hockey equipment comes off out emerges our two little boys.


Damn it's humbling to know that the nurse you go to is psychic!!My INR level was off and on the clotting side which had the nurse asking me if I had ate anything different.I told her that during the week I had a very small salad with a bit of romaine lettuce in it.Her next question was ,did you have any pistachios ? In surprise I blurted out yes me and the wife ate a whole bag of them while watching a hockey game.
It turns out that pistachios are loaded with vitamin K. Who knew?

     Anybody watch Yes Minister ?
