I wonder if the North Korean militarys are behind the bombings. From what I heard the thinking is that the bombs were concealed in backpacks and placed with a lot of them belonging to the marathoners.
I never have figured out why people have to carry their crap in a backpack where ever they go,school kiddie stuff.
Now it seems to be a way to transport killing machines without detection. Ban the damn backpacks from all events of any kind !! Interesting to me was that the police were able to jam all the cellphones in the vicinity of the explosions as a precaution against further attacks.
Cell Phone
Finally I upgraded my cell to the Galaxy ACE 2 x and entered the world of smartphones. The buying experience at the Source store where I got the phone was very positive. The young
When I was home I downloaded the manual and found out that the learning curve is a slightly steep one.Anyhow,no smartphone is gonna out smart me!
Holter Monitor
I spent 20 hours including overnight wearing a Holter in order to record my heart rhythm while doing day to day activities.Like everything electronic the size of it has shrunk considerably from when my wife wore one about seven years ago. Another test and more results to wait for.
Spring?
Took our car to the garage to remove the snow tires and install the all seasons. I am gambling that ol man Winter has left and because the snow tires are studs they have to be off the car before the end of April.

Oh, heck! I hate my phone and hope that I can go back to something simpler.
You have never run a marathon, GFB. I have. The backpack is for street-clothes, towel, change of shoes, socks, etc. and race tshirt and medals,if won. Along with wallet, ID, etc. One can't run carrying all these extras and many don't have someone to lug it for them as they are running too.
Just so you know.

I realize that WWW,however, times have changed and now bombs should be added to the list.I wonder how runners handled things say 40 years ago when back packs were not common at events other than camping.
Imagine a suicide bomber with 8 ounces of C4 or Semtex in a back pack getting on a subway car in Trawna at rush hour.
After Boston the security services need to turn their attention on to the back packers in our midst.
