Comment problem solved! It seems that a Trojan piggy backed onto two innocent looking files, My Search update exe. and Right Surf exe. that sneaked past my A/V.
I found this out in a Chrome forum.I immediately downloaded Firefox and set it up. I will keep Chrome for now.
