Back again.Here is an update concerning Shirley.She is mobile without using a cane,however, for now she uses a walker when we go out on our daily walk weather permitting.She gets around our apartment without any aids.
 Its almost six month since her bad fall and considering her age her progress has been remarkable says the physiotherapist.Tough, determined little lady I have in my life.

   Yesterday I had the studded tires removed and all seasons mounted since it was the last day that the stud tires could be legally on our car. Wouldn't you know it ,three inches of snow on the car when I set out for the dealer.The trip home on slippery roads with the all seasons on  was a minor nightmare but we survived.
  Today it is sunny and warm and the snow is gone.
