Tuesday we went over to the health center for Shirl's appointment and my cardiac rehab session.Good news ,the surgeon told her that the break in the femur had healed so well that it was undetectable in the X-ray.Could she have the cast off ? His reply was "Yep and then get walking"
First she was to use a walker then two canes then one cane.Since the break in her shoulder is slow healing the first two options were out.She is using a cane but amazingly she walks without it most of the time.She is taking rehab here at home and will be also doing some at our health center.

AWESUM!!!! You both must be happy campers GFB. So good to hear the news about Shirl and her healing. Now, it's your turn - get that old cardiac muscle pumping like a Leduc oil well!!! :-)
